Nature Teacher: Letting Go 2020

Single red/gold/green autumn leaf on a twig

Shed the old for the new

the falling leaves say

stand up for what you believe in

even if branches become bare.

The question always

how far to go

Forest of Tall Evergreens with mountains of evergreens in background

hold values like stately evergreens

strong amidst the gale

or acquiesce

in clouded comprehension

Barren trees in a misted woodland

to become

unrecognizable

sameness.

  1. Leaves scatter and get caught up with the wind…. When you anchor your roots and are grounded… You hold steadfast to your Knowingness…. and to what your heart feels… Our heart beats to the rhythm of our Earth’s Mothers pulse… And there are still many trees upon the planet despite deforestation.. 🙂 ❤ Much love

  2. Yes, it’s been a bit of a surprise although not necessarily shocking. Thankfully, I’ve already had the mindset that when we let go of those with negative energy in our lives, it leaves room for more positive people to enter. And in that regard, I’m not necessarily sorry to see them go; only sorry that they are so blinded with hate and anger. Thank you, wholeheartedly Sue, for welcoming me into your forest.

  3. You soon find out who your friends are when you stand up for your beliefs dear friend, But you have to be the Tree….. And let the leaves fall where they may… The tree will soon sprout more new growth to carry on…. While the leaves will be blown by the way side … Know your roots will keep you steady… as will mine. ❤
