The Transformative Spirit of Christmas

We’ve long heard about the magic of Christmas. For me, that once meant Santa coming down the chimney and leaving shiny presents under the tree. As I grew older, it meant the heartwarming feelings from sharing hearty hugs and smiles in good company. Today, as I’ve become more introspective, and the world is in such a strange place, the magic of Christmas means something else.

I don’t believe one has to practice organized religion or be a Christian to benefit from the wisdom of this holiday. As with Swami Sivananda, I respect all religions equally. To me, his sentiments mirror today’s world and also offer great hope. I offer them to you in the spirit of Christmas:

Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.

Merry Christmas to our world.

May the light in our hearts shine as brightly as the Bethlehem Star.

Like you I follow today no one religion, though I have explored many.
The love of our Christ’s Consciousness lays within each of us, for we each hold that divine spark, all created with the love of our creator, which ever name we give to the source.
We hold many seeds within our makeup, from all corners of the Universe.
It is time now to nurture our inner garden sowing and planting love. Nurturing hope, inspiring others to grow.
I hope you had a blessed Christ-mas and I send you love and well wishes for an enlightening New year.
I’m hoping to be back in my blog land soon.
    Much love 💚💖💜💙💛
