Changing Focus Blogging Challenge Highlights: Pathways

Pebbled pathway up or down a green mountainside

“Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

I love pathways and apparently others do too. Here’s some responses to the Changing Focus blogging challenge on Pathways which include many trails:

Bren and Ashley Ryan of Brashley Photography offered an mesmerizing pathway through Ashenhank Woods (which I think might actually be called “Ashenbank” Woods). I’d like to take a dreamy stroll through it now but, of course, have to wait for ccp/covid restrictions to lift.

Feel the delicious coolness on a warm summer day at Meadowbrook Nature Preserve’s forest trail in Valparaiso, Indiana that Irene posted on her HeavensSunshine blog.

And this trail from a summer trip to Provincial Park posted on tbl little bit of everything‘s blog, looks inviting at any time of year.

A last response came in from the Experience Writing blog a few days after I posted the highlights above but for all the effort put into it, I had to include it. I think you will find it an interesting feat in creativity.

Here’s a few parting thoughts on pathways:

“Curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” – Walt Disney

Only those who wander, find new paths.” – Norwegian Proverb

“No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path.” – Buddha

“Do not be afraid to walk the path that you must go just because you cannot see the end. The path becomes clearer as you continue to go on.” – Tracy Allen

“One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.” – Henry Miller

Hope you’ll participate in the next Changing Focus Blogging Challenge on Reflections.
