While I consciously limit Big Tech’s involvement in my life, there are still times when the world gets too much and I need to step back. As an HSP (highly sensitive person) the deafening noise permeates my space like clanging bells toppling my inner ear balance. The alarm for self-care blares loudly.
A Few Traits of the Highly Sensitive Person…
- I need to withdraw to a private place offering relief from the situation.
- My nervous system sometimes feels so frazzled that I have to go off by myself.
- I find it unpleasant to have a lot going on at once.
And so it is with navigating the currently brambled world of political polarization and evil restraints, work overload to keep up with inflationary costs, and sickness and death of family and friends. Two years (and counting) of relentless chaos are a blizzard to my focus, the tangled web creating an almost impenetrable fog to thinking. Time is askew, and my flickering spirit nudges me to join Mother Nature in going within to recharge and restore.
Other bloggers I’ve connected with also do this at times and I understand why. Time out and in Nature is a tremendous balm to scattered energies. If you are feeling some of the same, try unplugging from the worries of the world. Not to be unaware, but to be unaffected or more accurately uninfected. Combat the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) tyrannical pummeling by using prayer, meditation, journaling and visualization to restore the spirit and help preserve living naturally for all of humankind.
The WEF’s Great Reset intends to micromanage and digitize us through their virtual reality, replace God with their AI (Artificial Intelligence) and effectively erase our free will to be controlled by their agenda. Ask yourself if you prefer to exist rather than live, to be controlled by the State through robotic devices and algorithmic mandates? We’ve had the bitter taste of it thus far…
Essentially, the Great Reset is a war on the natural rhythms of life and Mother Nature herself (while they purport and pretend as the false narrative does, that they care about humanity and the environment). You can choose instead to be awake and not fall lazily asleep from their gaslighting.
For me, being sans tech is easy, but only a first step. If you are tethered to a device or just feeling drained from intense, divisive conversations, try taking a 24-hour respite from Big Tech by participating in the 13th Annual National Day of Unplugging.
2022 National Day of Unplugging
Sundown Friday March 4th to Sundown Saturday, March 5th
The National Day of Unplugging is an awareness campaign annually observed the first weekend in March. to inspire a healthy life/tech balance for families, schools, religious institutions and businesses in their communities.
Filmmaker, Julio Vincent Gambuto makes a good point: “If we just take a deep breath and tune out the propaganda, we could instead only bring back what works for us, what makes our lives richer, what makes our kids happier, what makes us truly proud.” It’s up to us. Each of us has that choice to make. That action to take.
Human connection is my #1 preference over digital engagement. Always has been and will continue to be.
Seeing the ill affects of Big Tech on humanity increases my desire to unplug even more.
Try it and see how you feel. Mother Nature is calling. Now.
